WYLDE WOMEN AWARD

I came across a great site while blog surfing. The blog title is Women, Art, Life: Weaving It All Together by Tammy Vitale. Tammy is an artist and has started the WYLDE WOMEN AWARD. I thought it would be great to get this going in Canada so here are the rules and let's get on with the show.

Wylde Women Award.
Introducing the Wylde Women Award to give to your favorite Wylde Woman blogger. Here are the rules:
1. You can give it to one or one hundred or any number in-between - it's up to you. Make sure you link to their site in your post.
2. Link back to Tammy's blog site so she can go visit all the wonderful women who get nominated.
Purpose of the Award: To send love and acknowledgement to women who brighten your day, teach you new things and live their lives fully with generosity and joy.

So Now that you know the rules I have three wonderful women nominees for this Award.
They are:

Jaime M. who is a bright, funny, compassionate woman. She is always looking for ways to expand her knowledge whether it is teaching herself a how to do a new craft(sewing, knitting, crocheting) or taking courses to extend her education. Jaime has just recently started to dabble in selling her great line of bags and purses on her store site, Gingham Skies. She has for the last five years worked in the local public school board system as an intervenor for blind, deaf persons. Jaime will be starting teachers college in the fall and hopes to become a grade school teacher.

Tanya F. is a crazy, smart, caring high school teacher who has left us today for the great city of Moscow in Russia. She will, for the next year or so, teach English at a private school there. How exciting for her. While still here in Canada, Tanya was involved in many local community players groups that put on plays and musicals. Drama is her forte. She is a wonderful young woman who has much to offer. Russia can have her for a while but we definitely want her back.

Bridie and Joanne are a mother/daughter team that have taken their passion and talent for knitting and have started an online store called EterKnity. Their creations are gorgeous. They have been approached by various companies around the globe to have their knitwear line, sold in shops and boutiques. They have learned how to create, advertise and sell a worthy product in a very competitive venue. I have no doubt that Bridie & Joanne's business venture will be very successful.

To all the ladies nominated above I take my hat off to you. Each one of you have brightened my day at one time or another, taught me new things and have shown, not only to me but to others as well, how to live your life to the fullest. Congratulations to each one of you!
