This is something I've got but haven't used yet...

This weeks "This Is" theme was chosen by Fossy-p and proves to be a difficult choice for me. There are so many things that I've got but haven't used yet. I collect bits and pieces for my crafts and tend to stash them away for my projects. Hubby John is really good at not complaining about the large area of his office and the bedroom being taken over by my "one of these days" stuff. I do try to keep it under control but what's a girl to do??? Anyway, I had just walked into the bedroom to find something to snap a picture of and VOILA !... I spied these goodies. We haven't been doing much backyard entertaining in the last year or so but we are planning at least two "do's" this summer. I had gotten these together ready to put outside when needed. They are perfect for today's blog. "This is something I've got but haven't used yet." They are an assortment of birthday gifts given to me, candle holders collected by me and some ceramic candle holders painted by me, over the last few years. Dragonfly patio lights, a set of 3 pastel coloured, round metal citronella oil lamps and a really funky citronella scented candle lawn stake that looks like a slice of watermelon. Two ceramic candle holders painted by me, a souvenir candle holder bought in Dominican Republic a few years back and two ducky candle holders that I just got last month. Oooooooo, now I'm getting excited! Think I'll go look for some matches. I have some stashed around here somewhere, I know that's something I've got but haven't used yet!

hehehe, I had to laugh when I saw your whole table of things :D

I'm so glad they've got you excited about them all. And Jaime is right, they all look like perfect items to enjoy over Summer!

Oh I used to have even more of 'those' things than you did. Thank god for freecycle and charity shops!

Hope you get to use them soon.;-)

Thanks everyone for your comments.
I do have more of the outside goodies stashed throughout the house but I didn't want hubby John to have a heart attack when I put them on the table outside to snap the picture. LOL! They will get taken out gradually so he doesn't pass out from the shock!
